Now it’s finally official, the Corona checklist has been ticked off and the last arrangements with the umbrella organisation have been clarified: the Trench Town Music Project will start again in September.
At the last project weekend we discussed how and under which conditions we want to start the project again. This includes that we would like to pay for a total of 3 project coordinator positions, as the work in Jamaica is a lot. In order to be able to comfortably pay these approximately 1000€ per month, we need above all a good and successful fundraising. Also, before the project starts, the cooperation with the schools has to be revived and possibly renegotiated. The new volunteers also need to be found and prepared.
So there is still a lot to do, but we are full of energy and anticipation.
